End User Licence Agreement
Last updated: 27 August 2026 · Version 1.2
This agreement is between you and gore-software ("GORE", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, redeeming a key for, or using GORE PC Check (the "Software"), you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install or use the Software.
1. Licence granted
Subject to these terms and to payment of the applicable fee, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use one copy of the Software on the single computer to which your licence key is bound, for the duration of that key.
This is a licence, not a sale. You acquire no ownership of the Software.
2. Licence keys
- Keys are hardware-locked. When redeemed, a key binds to one computer's hardware identifier and cannot be moved to another machine.
- Keys are non-transferable and may not be shared, resold, or published.
- Keys are issued either for a 30-day term or, where purchased as a "Lifetime" licence, without a fixed expiry.
- A gang owner who purchases keys may assign them to members and may revoke them at any time. Revocation immediately ends the member's right to use the Software under that key.
- "Lifetime" means for as long as we continue to operate the Software and its supporting service. It does not mean in perpetuity, and it does not oblige us to operate the service indefinitely. See section 12.
- We may revoke any key obtained through fraud, chargeback, or breach of this agreement.
3. Authorized use only
You may only scan a computer that you own, or one you have been given clear, informed and voluntary permission to scan by the person who uses it.
By running a scan you represent and warrant that you have that authority. If you are an administrator directing others to run the Software, you are responsible for obtaining their consent and for directing them to our Privacy Policy beforehand.
Using the Software to examine a computer without permission may be unlawful where you live. You — not us — bear responsibility for that use.
3a. Regions where the Software is not offered
GORE PC Check is not marketed or offered to, and may not be used by, persons located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.
We do not advertise, sell or direct the service to those regions. Where we can identify that a request comes from one of them, we refuse account creation, purchases, download-key redemption and scan uploads.
That identification is not a guarantee. It relies on country information supplied by the network in front of our service, which is not always present, and which a VPN or proxy can defeat in either direction. This section is therefore a statement of who we offer the Software to — and a condition of your licence — rather than a promise that the service is technically unreachable from those regions.
By creating an account, buying a key or running a scan you represent that you are not located in, and are not a resident of, those regions. If we determine otherwise we may suspend or terminate your account and refund any unused portion of a purchase. This restriction may be lifted in future; until then no offer of the service is made to those regions.
4. Prohibited use
You must not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or detection logic of the Software, except to the extent that this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Modify, tamper with, or circumvent the Software, its licence checks, or its detection routines — including attempting to make a machine appear clean.
- Share, resell, sublicense, rent, or publish licence keys or the Software.
- Use the Software to harass, intimidate, stalk, dox, extort, or discriminate against any person.
- Publish another person's scan results, file paths, or hardware identifiers without their consent.
- Use the Software to scan machines you have no authority over, or to build a profile of a person's general computer activity unrelated to cheat detection.
- Use the Software unlawfully, or in a way that disrupts our service (including automated abuse of our API).
5. What a scan result does and does not mean
A scan result is evidence to be interpreted, not proof of guilt. The Software reports indicators that known cheat software has been present or executed. It can produce false positives (flagging something innocent) and false negatives (missing a cheat, particularly a new or heavily modified one, or one used on a machine whose records have been altered).
Any decision you take on the basis of a result — banning, removing, accusing or publicly naming a person — is your decision alone, and you are solely responsible for it and its consequences. We are not a party to those decisions and accept no liability for them.
A result marked "incomplete" means the scan could not read some records (typically because it ran without administrator rights) and must not be treated as a clean result.
6. Payment, renewal and refunds
- Prices are shown at checkout and are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you also accept Stripe's terms. We do not receive or store your card details.
- 30-day keys are sold as a fixed term and do not auto-renew unless expressly stated at checkout.
- Refunds: because a key is bound to hardware on first use, a key that has been redeemed is generally non-refundable. An unredeemed key may be refunded within 14 days of purchase. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, this does not affect your statutory rights, including any statutory right to cancel — where you ask us to supply the Software immediately and it is redeemed, that right of cancellation may be lost.
- Lifetime owner keys. A lifetime key is a one-time purchase and does not expire. The same refund rule applies: it may be refunded within 14 days of purchase provided it has not been redeemed, and once redeemed it is bound to your hardware and is generally non-refundable. Gang-owner access granted with a lifetime purchase ends if the purchase is refunded.
- We may change prices for future purchases; changes never affect a key you have already bought.
7. Updates
The Software checks for and installs updates automatically, and periodically downloads an updated cheat-signature list so it can detect newly released cheats. This is a core part of how the product works. Updates are covered by this agreement. We may change, add or remove features over time.
8. Ownership
The Software, its detection engine, signature database, branding and website are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not use our name or logo without permission. GORE is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or Cfx.re; all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Software will detect all cheats, that it will be free of errors or false results, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including, for consumers, rights that cannot be waived under local law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for loss of profit, data, goodwill, reputation, community standing, or gaming accounts, arising from your use of or inability to use the Software.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Software is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50.
We are not liable for the acts of server administrators or gang owners, including decisions they take about you based on a scan result.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Software, your breach of this agreement, your breach of section 3 (authorized use), or any decision you make about another person based on a scan result.
12. Termination
This licence ends automatically when your key expires or is revoked, or if you breach these terms. We may suspend or terminate your account and keys, without refund, for breach — in particular for unauthorized scanning, key sharing, or tampering.
If we permanently discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice where practical, and will consider a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of an unexpired paid term.
On termination you must stop using and uninstall the Software. Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 13 survive termination.
13. General
- Governing law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction — except that consumers may bring proceedings in their country of residence and benefit from its mandatory consumer protections.
- Changes. We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the application or by email, and the date at the top will change. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
- Entire agreement. This agreement and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us regarding the Software.
